Winnie Onyango holds a Master’s degree in Fisheries Resource Management and a Ph.D in Applied Marine Environmental Studies. She is passionate about environmental conservation, driven by the important role the environment plays in supporting human life. Winnie has a couple of years of work experience as a researcher and a lecturer in the fisheries department. Her main research focuses on microplastics and how they interact with marine fauna. Winnie has published three papers on the subject in reputable journals. Through her work, She aims to contribute to better understanding and protection of the environment. Winnie is open to opportunities aligned with her field of study that will allow her to apply her skills while supporting her ongoing professional development.
