Caroline Jepkorir Kibet joined KENWEB in 2015 following their Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. She participated in KENWEB’s field research in the Tana River Delta, where she contributed to freshwater biodiversity surveys and data analysis. Through mentorship, she strengthened her skills in ecological assessment and scientific writing, leading receiving a scholarship to University of Chinese Academy of Sciences for a Master of Science degree on Natural sciences. She is currently pursuing a PhD in aquatic Parasitology at University of South Bohemia, Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic and continues to collaborate as a KENWEB peer-learning resource person and in wetland research initiatives.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology.

Master of Science degree on Natural sciences.

currently pursuing a PhD in aquatic Parasitology at University of South Bohemia, Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic
