arbara Mong’ina Onyango is a professional leader who has exhibited a working history for 13 years now in the area of biodiversity conservation, data analysis and research, community work, mapping, and project management. Her key interests lies deeply in environment. She has a Master of Science in Conservation Biology from the University of Eastern Africa Baraton, and a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology from the same university. Throughout her academic experience, she has worked with governmental bodies in the areas of environment and conservation and this has led her to venture in projects and community works. She has also worked at both private bodies and non-governmental bodies like; Open Mapping Hub Eastern & Southern Africa, Humanitarian OpenStreetMap, Umande Trust as well as International bodies like FAO of the United Nations, to empower communities’ livelihoods in countries like Somalia, Ethiopia, and Sudan. Her sheer hard work and integrity veers her as an exemplary leader.
